Every shoot is new, a challenge to be totally present, to experience who the people really and reflect this in the photography in an non-contrived and beautiful way.
I have been creating wedding and portrait portfolios for over 10 years and still love the process, especially the great people I get to work with.I find myself crying when a groom tears up as his bride approaches the alter, laughing when a soft spoken dad gives a toast, oohing and ahing when the brides dress slips over her head and she is transformed from lady in waiting to Bride/ movie star.
I am still awestruck by the love and celebration, the details great and small, the music and lights all of it. Sometimes I find myself dancing with my camera. It is such a privilege to have my job, to make art of life’s moments.
It doesn’t matter the budget of the wedding . from lawn party to amazing Hampton’s vineyard, to urban townhouse.I love all of it. Straight , gay, young, old. ALL of it

Hi Cynthia,
My name is Donna Gross. You took pictures of my children about 14 years ago in Rockville, Maryland. They are so lovely!
